Our Mission
Denver City Lax’s mission is to create educational and enrichment opportunities for youth in underserved Denver neighborhoods through the sport of lacrosse.
Opportunity
Lacrosse has many links to higher education offering youth previously unfamiliar with the sport a new path in accessing high school and collegiate opportunities.
The game provides an excellent team platform to teach key life skills such as leadership, sportsmanship, teamwork, perseverance, healthy living and goal setting.
Lacrosse
Introduction to the sport, financial access to equipment and team play, year-round lacrosse programming and training, opportunities to travel, attend local and national camps, and participate on competitive teams.
Education
Academic guidance, high school and college choice, admissions counseling, college and high school visits, test preparation, grade tracking, and tutoring.
Enrichment
Individual mentoring, outdoor adventure experiences, health and nutrition education, career exploration, and service learning.
